Grade Three and Four had a guest speaker this morning- Dana in grade eight at CCS. Dana spent five days last summer in South Dakota volunteering to help and learn about the Native Americans in the area. Dana built ramps at the residences of people who use wheel chairs. She also traveled to many places in South Dakota- including Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse. The students in grade three and four loved hearing about what Dana had learned and her volunteer experience. ...

The students in grade 3/4 Roots and Shoots are collecting items for Cornwall residents that they are not allowed to buy through SNAP (USDA Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program).
