Becoming a reader is so important for young people as they develop fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension skills. We hope that your family is participating in the Governor’s Summer Reading Challenge. Students complete this journal and return it to school on August 28th.
Reading to children has tremendous benefits as youngsters, especially reluctant readers, increase vocabulary and are exposed to a range of ideas that will help with understanding once they learn to love to read.
